The magic is still there, the appeal is still evident
the moment he appears on the screen and his dialogues in
that baritone voice. It is Amitabh Bachchan returning as
the angry ‘young’ man. But Bbuddah...Hoga Terra Baap is
full of flashy dresses, over the top acting in a film
which leans on a thin storyline.
Puri Jagannadh, the Telugu film director makes the
69-year-old Amitabh Bachchan enact the role of a
defiant, flashy hit man in his angry young man of the
70s and 80 style.

ACP Karan’s college friends Tanya (Sonal Chauhan)
and her friend Amrita (Charmee Kaur) and in for a brief
while.
Here, Vijju gradually rises in the underworld and
manages to reach the don Kabir where they get involved
in plotting the murder of the ACP. Vijju also meets his
estranged wife Sita (Hema Malini).
There is nothing much in the story, but the climax is
gripping and Amitabh proves once more, even at this age,
why he is still an icon. What is surprising is how he
could repeat the dance and action scenes in the winter
of his life.
It is a must watch for all Big B fans who will relish
it. Especially those who have grown up on his movies,
will enjoy the old charm again. For the others, it is
just an average bollywood masala flick.

Dare not call him a ‘Bbuddah’,
lest you face his anger. Single handedly he handles the
baddies, but also has a soft side too. He gets the best
lines to deliver which make the audience clap and cheer at
several occasions.
'Vijju is a contract killer
who returns to Mumbai after being in Paris. It will be
his last assignment of his profession. He is flamboyant,
arrogant and hits back to those who call him ‘Bbuddah’.
Mumbai has been rattled by a series of bomb blasts and
now ACP Karan Malhotra (Sonu Sood) has openly announced
that in a span of two months, he will wipe of all the
gangsters of Mumbai. The underworld doesn’t like it. So
the underworld don Kabir (Prakash Raj) decides to
eliminate the ACP himself. Kabir was the mastermind of
the bomb blasts in Mumbai.

It seems Raveena Tandon
looks like and unwanted character. If the intention was
to evoke laughter, sorry, it doesn't work. The graceful
Hema Malini is there for the emotional content. Prakash
Raj is one impressive and a towering baddie who measures
up to Amitabh Bachchan. The freshers Sonal Chauhan and
Charmee Kaur brighten up the proceedings, but it is Sonu
Sood who displays talent and above all confidence to
match Amitabh’s towering presence.
It has impressive cinematography by Amol Rathod and is
action-packed by Vijay's stunts. It begins with fun
action and then ends up with action-packed finale and
the subsequent emotional reunion.
There are some funny moments in the film, good action
scenes, brisk at certain places, slow in other parts,
but overall the film scores just a notch above the run
of the mill.
