Bhavnao Ko Samjho, movie review

This out and out comic film is directed by the winner of ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, Sunil Pal who has also scripted and produced the film that brings in 51 stand up comedians in one film. Bhavnao Ko Samjho movie review…

The movie Bhavnao Ko Samjho begins with a multi-millionaire, Himmatlal (Dinesh Hingoo), who loses his elder son and daughter-in-law in an accident. Himmatlal is now survived by his younger son Sunderlal and grand daughter Suman (the elder son’s daughter).

Suman is a sweet young girl and the grandpas pet, while his younger son Sunder is spoilt character and a good for nothing Drunkard.

After Himmatlal’s death, according to his will, the whole property gets transferred to the grand daughter, Suman who is studying abroad while Sunderlal is left wanting. So this spoilt Sunderlal starts making every possible effort to get the property on his name, even if it means to make all the wrong promises, using unethical means & even making compromises to get what he felt was rightfully to attain it.

In his quest to do so Sunderlal comes across strange characters like the marriage guru Vivah & the money lender Daya – who jointly become responsible in sending fake proposals for the girl. Vivah and Daya get interested in Sunderlal’s property and so, collectively they begin the hunt for a guy who would be under Sunder’s control & then get the property transferred in his name.

But luck does not favour them, as all the prospects (or put it as puppets) recommended by them are thrown back by a witty trick engaged by Suman’s little known man of her dreams Shekhar. Shekhar is already aware about Sunderlal’s motives and moves, so he outwits them all the time which turns out to be a fiasco for the wicked uncle.

This game of outwitting each other, makes these characters suffer for their own blunders in Bhavnao Ko Samjho. This war between the two groups, bring in numerous laughter filled situations & happenings in the lives of the characters involved.

Thus emerges these two groups and the indifference between them leads to funny and hilarious moments. Then comes the unique quest for money which makes the film Bhavnao Ko Samjho entertainingly hilarious. This story is a complete package of raw humour and some comedy which has an equal doze of musical romance and soft emotions.

What happens in this unique quest for money makes film entertainingly hilarious. It is an average comedy film
