Its all
happening in the Beach Party Capitol of the world...
Miami is the setting for Dostana - serving a cocktail of
all ingredients to do with friendship, fun frolic and
that thing called Love... but with a slight twist –
there’s a small cause of pretence to be Gay!

The film is
entirely filmed in Miami and is the story about the two
guys, who are unable to rent an apartment, and who then
pretend to be homosexuals, so that they would be able to
rent out an apartment. Both the boys fall in love with
the same girl, but cannot express their feelings to her,
since she is under the impression that they both are
gays.
Sameer hits upon an idea and tells Kunal that if they
pretend to be gay lovers, the owner would agree to let
them stay to which Kunal agrees out of desperation. The
plan works, they move in and as time passes by, Kunal
and Sameer become good friends with Neha. They hang out
together and have fun.
One day Neha's boss Murli (Boman Irani) announces his
resignation as the editor-in-chief of the fashion
magazine Verve magazine. Neha invites her gay boss for
dinner at her house promising to introduce him to her
gay roommates.
But Abhimanyu Singh (Bobby Deol) is appointed as the
next editor-in-chief to her dismay. Kunal and Sameer try
to console Neha and they even help her to work out a
difficult project she was given by her boss which
becomes a hit at her office. Abhimanyu appoints her as
the co-editor-in-chief of Verve at her success.

Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan) in his early thirties was
born and raised in London. He works as a male nurse at
St. Steve's hospital. A goofy kind of guy, who yet has
the ability to charm his way into anybody's life. Sameer
is the man with the plan. Plans that he seldom thinks
through its consequences.
Kunal (John Abraham) is a guy
in his early thirties. Tall, suave, confident and good
looking who has this brooding quality about him that makes
girls swoon over him, which he plays to his full
advantage. He's a fashion photographer who is pretty
straight edged, responsible and an organized man who has
his life in order except for his residence permit as he is
an illegal immigrant.
Neha (Priyanka Chopra) is a 27 year old contemporary
Indian woman. She is a smart, gorgeous and stylish woman,
working at a fashion magazine called Verve. Hard working
and someone who lover her work, she longs to settle down
and have a family. She is respectful, intelligent and also
innocent which sometimes lands her into trouble.
When Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan) and Kunal (John Abraham)
are turned down for an apartment because the land lady
doesn't want 2 strapping young men to corrupt her young
sexy niece Neha (Priyanka Chopara), they go to plan "G" -
they pretend to be 'Gay' to secure the apartment.

Dostana belongs to the gorgeous Priyanka and sexy John
Abraham. Boman Irani, Kiran Kher and Sushmita Mukherjee
have senseless parts to try to keep the laughter rolling.
The film has everything - exotic beaches, babes, and the
sexy John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra on glorious display.
It definitely has an upper class glossy look and feel
which should be a hit among the urban massed, the high-end
and the NRIs too.
