Three cute ladies and a flirtatious boss

Hello Darling, movie review

Hello Darling the hindi comedy film is a remake of the Tamil film, Magalir Mattum produced by Kamal Hassan. This adult comedy flick is directed by debutante Manoj Tiwari. Hello Darling movie review…

Three beautiful women teaming up together to take on their lustful womanizing boss in a hilarious series of events which in the end prove that Women will Rule!
The film is a light comedy starring Gul Panaag, Eesha Koppikhar and Celina Jaitley as the three women and Jaaved Jaffrey as the boss.

There are many Hollywood comedies on the subject of battle of the sexes but Hello Darling fails to make a mark. The screenplay and direction are a mish-mash of funny gags that simply don’t go down well.

The story of Hello Darling is simple, a vice-president of a Mumbai based fashion house, Hardik Vasu (Javed Jaffrey), simply cannot keep his eyes off the women who work in his enterprise.

Our boss Mr Vasu, has intent is the three of his female subordinates and in particular: the Lucknow girl Mansi Joshi (Gul Panaag), the other female is the company’s workaholic creative head from Haryana, Satywati Chaudhary (Eesha Koppikkar), while the third is a fresh girl, a straight forward Candy Fernandes (Celina Jaitley).

The womanizer’s advances are defended well as the trio devises innovative methods to keep warding off the lustful man’s intimidation.

They plan to teach him a lesson, which backfires and lands them in big trouble.

There is another lady the boss’ wife (Divya Datta) who is a neglected woman who desperate to attract her hubby’s attention. Pushed to the wall, she turns to a mafia-style NGO run by an aggressive lady (Seema Biswas) to give her husband some shock treatment.

Attempted to create fun by creating confusion by laying a booby-trap for the boss towards the end, Hello Darling has plenty of skin show, like the cleavage-flashing leading ladies who just fail to make an impression. It has average music by Pritam, lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed, Kumaar and Ashich Pandit.
There isn’t much to write about neither Raju Khan and Remo’s choreography nor its photography by Ravi Yadav.

It is ironical to see that the story of Hello Darling is written by Pankaj and Sachin who wrote the blockbuster comedies – Apna Sapna Money Money and Kya Kool Hain Hum.
