Vivek Sharma the director of
this supernatural thriller, began his Bollywood career
as Mahesh Bhatt's assistant. Armed with a master's
degree in physics Kal Kissne Dekha appears to be an
outlet of his long cherished college dreams of
foreseeing the future.
Kal Kissne Dekha is the story of Nihal Singh (Jacky
Bhagnani) from Chandigarh who is a seemingly simple yet
unconventional boy. He talks too much, questions
everything and builds complicated gadgets in his spare
time. He has a brilliant mind and an oddball sort of
charm. He adores his mother, has dreams of studying in
the most elite institute of science and always looks for
big ideas in small things. His ambition is to become a
scientist.
But and yes, there is a big secret about Nihal. Flashes
of the future come to him as visions. Sometimes the
future comes to him in his dreams, sometimes when he is
emotionally charged.
When he gets admission in
his dream college in Mumbai, he is over the moon.
College is a whole new world, full of color, new people
and new challenges to be met.
Initially nobody takes him seriously. He is ragged by
his seniors, insulted by the girl he likes and so on.
Nihal gradually wins them over.
The girl Nihal likes is Meesha (Vaishali Desai). She is
a spoilt brat, disrespectful and mean. And she’s pompous
about it. Meesha is rolling in money and rude at times.
She cannot accept that Nihaal is steadily managing to
charm one and all. She plots and plans against him, most
of it doesn't go as per plan.

What Nihal doesn't know is that someone is trying to use
his gift against him. In his innocence he is manipulated
and his visions become a too. Will betrayal be his
fate... or will Nihal's brilliant mind recognize the
traitor before he destroys everything that Nihal loves?
This flick is meant to be the launch pad of the producer
Vashu Bhagnani’s son Jackky Bhagnani. He act well for a
new comer, fights and dances exceptionally well too.
Jackky is talented and this debutante has a good future.
Vaishali Desai, who is in her first film, is confident,
good looking and acts well. The chemistry between the
lead pair is just perfect.

Professor Verma (Rishi Kapoor) is the college warden and a
senior professor in science. Nihal finds a father-figure
in him and someone he can look up to. The professor is
fascinated by Nihal's unique mind and accedes to become
this boy’s mentor.
Suddenly Nihal's world is rudely interrupted. He gets
visions of Meesha being in danger. He saves her life and
his secret is revealed. The media and TV channels are all
buzzing with only one news - Nihal Singh from Chandigarh
can see the future.
Meesha softens towards him and love blooms. But there are
more difficult times ahead.

Rishi Kapoor and Rahul Dev are fine. Ritesh Deshmukh for a
brief while tries hard to evoke laughter, but he is wasted
here. Sajid Wajid’s music and energetic songs cater to the
popular variety. Well, the producer has managed a grand
look as far as the picturisation of the songs are
concerned. Johny Lall’s cinematography is eye pleasing and
excellent.
The film
somewhere lacks the fun and thrills that one normally
associates with a campus fare (remember Khiladi or even
the not so successful Barsaat?). Anyway, it is all fun and
dance, peppered with a little twist. .
