The original Krantiveer, released almost a decade ago
had Nana Patekar and Dimple Kapadia. Now, this called as
Krantiveer - The Revolution, is a sequel to it which is
socially and politically relevant today.
This story begins where the first Krantiveer ends and
this time it’s about the revolution that concerns the
younger generation and is all about the power game that
power drunk people are interested in. The film dares to
blow lid off the issues that are disturbing the society.
It is about the young fiery protagonist Roshni
(introducing Jahan Bloch), who is the screen daughter of
Dimple and Nana.
.

She is joined by her college friends, Uday (Harsh Rajput)
and Goldie (Aditya Singh Rajput) and Vishal (Sameer Aftab).
They want to cleanse the society of its ills, and hence we have the exposes,
provocative speeches and confrontations. This time their revolution shakes the
nation into searching its conscience and see peace, freedom and justice for
all.
Roshni acts as a pivot of the revolution and gets along her determined college
mates Vishal, Uday and Goldie. The story takes all of them on a mission to rid
the present society of the evils, a revolution for cleaning the system.

The last time
around, we rooted out the devils that came from across the
seas. Now the demons are within. And they are more vicious
and wicked. We need to fight them with a new force and
energy. The youth. They are now ready to act only to stop,
when they have achieved their mission to rid the society
of evils, corruption, anarchy and terrorism.
Roshni, the young daughter of the man responsible for the
last revolution Pratap Narayan Tilak is now wielding the
power of media as a fearless journalist. Roshni has
inherited not only the courage and sting of her legendary
father, but also the spirited lingo and the indomitable
style. Now she is grown up to become an honest and
fearless journalist, who takes on the system and launches
her own revolution.

Jahan Bloch lends a spirited
performance, especially as a newcomer and then there are
equally competent guys - Sameer Aftab, Aditya and Harsh.
It has the usual villains like Govind Namdeo, Mukesh
Tiwari and even the chocolate guy Aman Verma.
Nothing impressive in this film except the punchy
dialogues and hard hitting moments, the typical Mehul
Kumar type.
Many Bollywood films in recent times deal about corruption
in the powers that be, but again, this time too,
Krantiveer stands out for its hard stance and fiery
performances.
