Starring:
Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan, Rajpal Yadav, Suresh Menon,
Juhi Chawla
Director: Jaideep Sen
Jaideep
Sen's directorial debut, which is produced by Rakesh
Roshan is about four madmen having peculiar
personalities, being taken out for a change, finally
involved in a kidnapping plot. As projected in it
promos, it was supposed to have "humor in abundance" the
film barely has any genuine funny situations.
Krazzy 4 is the story of four mental patients - Raja (Arshad
Warsi) who is temperamental, Daboo (Suresh Menon) who
can't speak, Mukherjee (Irrfan Khan) is a cleanliness
freak with a compulsive disorder for neatness. Gangadhar
(Rajpal Yadav) who thinks that he still lives in a
bygone era of the pre-independence days.

The
performances are not upto to the mark. Arshad Warsi's
repeated anger bouts do not amuse. Irrfan Khan looks
lost. Rajpal Yadav is just bearable, sadly the director
failed to capitalize on the gifted comedian Suresh Menon
who is made to play the dumb character, which otherwise
could have more amusing moments.
Highlights of this film are the two items numbers played
by our Rakhi Sawant and other by Shah Rukh Khan. Nothing
great in the other songs, except superb dance by Hritik
Roshan in the title track.

The pretty doctor - Sonali (Juhi
Chawla) believes in treating her patients with love and
understanding. Thinking that these four guys need to be
some time away in interaction to the outer world which
might benefit them, she takes them to the city to watch a
cricket match. On reaching the city, our Dr. Sonali is
kidnapped by her own husband (Rajat Kapoor) who is a
politician. The foursome is stranded. While Raj stumbles
upon his ex-girlfriend (Dia Mirza) while Mukherjee meets
his daughter out of nowhere. Being all alone in the bad
outside world, the crazy four set off to rescue their
doctor.
There are many such cinematic coincidences as the film
progresses, and towards the end, it is a clichéd climax
where the four give long lectures on how its better off
being stupid and unintelligent than being bad in the mad
world outside.
