Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, movie review

Money Hai Toh Honey Hai is about this eventful and whirlwind journey of Bobby, a planner along with 5 losers: Lala bhai, a failed business man, Gaurav, an honest copy writer, Manik – a struggling model, Shruti, a struggling fashion designer and Ashima, a successful TV actress.

After getting a call from a cranky old man whom they ignored initially, but later somehow decided to give it a thought. With loads of dream in their eyes, they all reach the resort and start enjoying their newfound positions that of the owners of a resort and textile industries.

However, upon their arrival at the resort seperately, they realize Jaiswal called not one but all six of them.

Will they be able to run the empire together or try to fight among themselves with Parag Batra, the loyal manager of Jaiswal standing on their way like a rock and instigating them against each other hoping to wipe them out from the scene so that he could be the new MD of this resort.

Bobby (Govinda) is a smooth talking, fast spending good for nothing and spoilt, being the only son of rich parents. He has no intentions of ever working and his ideal life is one which is total and complete entertainment.

Gaurav (Aftab Shivdasani) is straight and honest boy, working as a copywriter in an advertising agency. No client wants to hear the truth. Gaurav can speak nothing but the truth and finds himself on a sticky wicket all the time.

Manik (Upen Patel) is a struggling model trying to make two ends meet by modelling for underwear and ‘khaj-khujli’ commercials. He hates what he’s doing and dreams of big bucks and that big chance.

Ashima (Hansika Motwani) is a successful TV actress, loved by millions as Meera – her serial character. but she feels stifled and dreams of Bollywood, co-starring with Shah Rukh Khan and winning the Filmfare award.

Lalabhai (Manoj Bajpai) wears red, rides red and thinks positive. After losing all the money he won in a lottery in various business disasters, he can still smile and say he never lost a crore, but gained a crore’s worth of experience.

Shruti (Celing Jaitley) is an extremely talented designer struggling to find her feet in the cut throat world of fashion. Rather than getting into pricey Haute Couture, she wants to design stuff that can be worn and be afforded by the common man.

Parag (Ravi Kishan) has looked after his uncle and his business for years and believes he is the rightful heir. He is shocked when his uncle nominates six strangers and is determined, by fair means or foul to win back what he’s lost.

KK Jaiswal (Prem Chopra) is an eccentric but kind millionaire who has always believed in doing good for others. Almost on his death bed, he decides to bequeath his entire fortune to six strangers. Will his trust be misused ?

Money Hai Toh Honey Hai is a bright and colourful movie with a sweet concept, yet not having the good Look and feel.
