Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal is about greed, politics and conspiracy.

Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal – movie review…

This action packed story revolves around four conscientious outlaws from North India(probably seems from Bihar) who set out to Mumbai for a dangerous mission. These criminals have entered Mumbai for a hit job, where one of them falls in love with his target and then it becomes complicated.

The four mercenaries are from different age groups, but with a similar motive to execute their jobs with passion and addiction and create havoc around. This is their style of a thrill.

The story of Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal is unveiled in a flashback of how these guys who face ugly issues, and it becomes even murkier for them. Their leader is clear in his vision. You are getting paid for it, so deliver the job.

So far its okay and fine, but the main protagonist himself falls in love with his target and then he turns preachy and the pace of the film goes for a toss.

Mumbai, the city of dreams has lots for them. Money, excitement, thrills, fast paced life and even an occasion which brings an eventful change of heart in this mega city.

The Director Manish Vatsalya is also featured in the role of a psycho character. Ravi Kishen is the only person who is convincing as the protagonist who undergoes transformation for the sake of his love. Yashpal Sharma, and Rahul Kumar go through their parts effortlessly. Hazel is okay, yet it is the corrupt cop played by Murali Sharma who is impressive.

It is difficult to pick up any feature worth a mention, since it has an average script, predictable direction and expletives in plenty. We have had many foul mouthed films lately which did brisk business at cinema halls, but one wonders if it was actually necessary to include these cuss words which are more than frequent. At times it appears unthinkable.

For the masses this is okay, and a bonus of a hot item number. There are good films and bad films. Quite a few of them are neither of them, and one feels that such films are to be watched only if you do not have any thing to do (its quite rare in this jet age). So then, now you know what to do with this one. Save your time and money.
