IndusDiva has taken a leap forward in fashion by launching exhilarating ranges from designers- Neeta Lulla, Priyadarshini Rao and Nikhil Thampi at You Store, Kemps Corner on 4th November 2015. They have created a fresh new Prêt line exclusively for IndusDiva.com. It just gets better, as this line is going to be easy on the pockets too and will be showcased at a pop up at You from 5th – 8th November. The collection will also be available on Amazon.in,snapdeal.com 10th November onward.

 

The event was attended by renowned personalities like Cyrus Broacha, Sonali Kulkarni, Neeta Lulla, Priyadarshini Rao, Suguna Sundaram (Joint Editor at Magna Publishing and Editor at Stardust), Anish Jhaveri (Partner at Oliphans Capital) and Amita Singh (Investor in IndusDiva.com, Evermore Capital). The event was abuzz with cocktails, canopies and conversations, hosted by IndusDiva.com founders Vineet Saxena & Jyoti Amba.

IndusDiva’s idea behind housing this premium, designer labels was to be able to provide, otherwise exclusive clothing, to a larger audience, with a mission to democratize fashion. With this novel intent, IndusDiva brings to you this fabulous new collection. The collection is young, vibrant, and buoyant with colors as it celebrates the spirit of the woman it strives to dress, reflecting the beauty that shines from within.

 

Neeta Lulla, popularly known as the ‘Czarina of Bollywood’ has crafted this collection to extend to the wearers; simplicity, comfort and flexibility of utility. This line for IndusDiva seamlessly blends two seemingly different sensibilities to create a line that offers a distinctive option in one’s closet. The collection comes with uncomplicated cuts employed to create easy silhouettes including paired separates that proposes unique choices. The obvious plainness of the garments belies the sensual undertone upon which the collection has been built. With a tropical colour palette and muted Mokaish embellishments, this collection showcases an array of elegant monochromatic ensembles with the occasional Aztec accent. Nikhil Thampi is known for being youthful Nikhil Thampi’s line for Indus Diva predominantly caters to the young confident women who are willing to wear bright hues and experiment with fun silhouettes. Thampi is Bollywood’s darling designer.

With a vibrant burst of limes, aquas, tones of reds and oranges, along with another exuberant mix of lemons and corals, there is a very festive, fun and easy vibe to this line. The silhouettes are new and are supported by colour blocking and the use of distinctive braided filigreed tassels that Indianize the line far more and add the quirk and embellishment to the clothes. Thampi says, ‘My label is synonymous with being youthful. This line too, predominantly caters to the young confident women who are willing to wear bright hues and experiment with fun silhouettes. ‘

 

Priyadarshini Rao believes in creating clothing for the soul and not merely the person. This organic collection is bohemian in its look as well as spirit. Symbolizing a free soul who loves to make the right style statement, they come in bright tones, adorned with embroideries which take their inspiration from old Parsi Garas and Kundan embroideries of the past. This new line is happy, young and plays with volumes of Mull and chanderi and dresses one up for all occasions. Kurtas with uneven hemlines, modern anarkalis, paneled lehenga pants, sheer chanderi shrugs and achkans, marry the old with the new. The colours primarily used are Limes, Fuschia, Reds, Indigoes and Ecrus. The perfect match this festive season for the woman, vibrant in style.
