Toss: Flip of Destiny movie is all about an incident
which transforms the lives and beliefs of a group of
friends. Childhood friends meet each other at that phase
of life, when then are now grown up, but beating the
wrong tracks.
The story is about a bunch of friends who, on their way
back from a vacation, stumble upon a fortune. This
unexpected bounty could make them rich. But it appears
to be a huge unaccounted amount of wealth.

Soon, before they realize the owners of
the booty are after them, the law is after them and
worse, they are after each other.
The friends tread a path where greed rules and death has
an equal chance of triumph.... and money awaits its new
set of victims!
Heart of the film is to open your eyes to the heads and
tails of life. It is about the destiny of flip and
future of a person’s journey in this world.
The premise of Toss is interesting that would interest
the young generation, its thrilling in some moments, yet
the screenplay needed much to be done.

They begin to calculate their risk, each person’s share,
in short everything materialistic. What follows is a transformation of
relationships, loyalties and values.
Each of them is blinded of the human relationships they have shared among
themselves. Ultimately, they decide to split the money and start dreaming a
king's life. Here we have a striking example how a single incident which can
change lives, beliefs, relationships and even the person’s individuality.
Love and trust are replaced by greed and lust. Each person’s dream seems like
near possibilities. One thing they are forgetting is that everything has a
price in the society.

Looks like the
debutant director Ramesh Khatkar is creative, as the film is technically fine
at the start of the film, still it is a below average fare as the editing is
below average and the story could have been more absorbing. It could have been
a fascinating film.
Cinematography is one notch better than other bollywood flicks. Sandesh
Shandilya and Siddharth-Suhas’ music is far from being refreshing and its
background score by Ranjit Barot is just above average.
Prashant Raj’s performance leads the pack. Ashmit Patel is wooden at times and
Aarti Chhabria looks beautiful. Rannvijay does his part well but he is
eliminated just before the end of first hald. Vijay Raaz and Rajpal Yadav are
almost not there in the film, while the experienced guys Mahesh Manjrekar and
Sushant Singh are just wasted.
